Olivia Is Still Amoureuse

When Olivia Newton-John first sang "Amoureuse" back in 1974--a song written and made popular in French by singer/songwriter Véronique Sanson--most fans were left breathless.  Her breathy cocals and the haunting lyrics were simply mesmerazing.  Who can ever forget Olivia's guest spot on teh Nana Mouskouri Show back in 74 when she literally blew the audience away with her rendition of the song (see video clip below).

Well, thirty five years later, Olivia has re-recorded "Amoureuse"--this time as a duet with Elaine Paige (realeased on the Elaine Paige and Friends CD in Nov 2010)

Here is Olivia performing "Amoureuse" back in 1974 on the Nana Mouskouri Show, followed by a promo of her updated version of "Amoureuse" with Elaine Paige
