Olivia Newton-John: We Honestly Love You - ParentDish

Olivia Newton-John came to AOL on Thursday November 19, 2009 to chat with ParentDish. Here is the resulting interview in which Olivia talks about parenting as well as answers questions that were sent in by some of her fans. A question that was submitted but not asked was: Please ask Olivia about her amazing portrayal of Bitsy Mae, a character she recently played in the "Sordid Lives" TV series on the Logo Cable station. Playing this role required Olivia to go against type by playing a rough, harsh, character with a criminal past and a less than wholesome background. What made her decide to take such a ground breaking role? Was it difficult for her to play a character that stands in complete opposition to the roles she had played in the past in such movies as Grease, Xanadu, and A Mom for Christmas? How were her experiences on the set? What kind of reaction did she receive from her fans to her new choice of roles?
